Hi! I'm Rocket and I just moved here on August 20th from a really crowded shelter in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I have 5 brothers and sisters and I'm so excited to be in Minnesota now so we have a chance at finding homes! Foster mom can't get over the too-cute heart shaped spot I have on my side and says that it makes me very unique. I heard her say something like "spawn of a Pound Puppy and Care Bear". I think she might like me just a little bit more than the others. She says personality wise I am the best of both worlds, I can be sweet and cuddly but I also like to be active and play too, even with the big dogs! Being that I'm a blue heeler/aussie mix, I will need lots of exercise to keep me from getting bored. I challenge you to meet me and not adopt me! Yes, I'm that sure I can win you over. I mean c'mon, I was born to love! My spot even says so! Prior to adoption Rocket will be neutered, vaccinated, health checked, heatworm/lymes tested and microchipped

The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.

Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432. We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.

All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
