Hi, my name is Rascal! I came to rescue because my owners were moving away without me. That makes me really sad because I truly thought I was a family member.  Now I am looking for a forever home that will always acknowledge me as an important part of the family!

  I am a Shih Tzu/Yorkie/Maltese and I just celebrated my 4th birthday on 10/28! I am a little shy at first but I want to be your best friend. I lived with an older couple and I am used to a quieter home, so a setting with kids 10 and over would probably be best for me. I get along well with other pets also. 
 I have a fluffy non shed coat that needs brushing at home and trips to the groomer for hair cuts every 2-3 months.  I am house trained and crate trained too. 
  I am a really sweet boy and I can't wait to find a home that will love me forever.

This dog has been neutered, vaccinated, health checked, heartworm/lymes tested and microchipped

The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.

Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432. We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.

All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
