Rascal is a mostly black border collie mix (?) puppy. He is fun, playful and affectionate. He gets along especially well with older children (over 8 years) but has been a little nervous around younger children with some barking. Rascal plays well with other puppies and is curious about cats, but hasn’t had much time to get to know any. He does very well sleeping overnight in his crate, especially when he gets to snuggle with his sister Stella.

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids
The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.

If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.
All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
