About Rascal

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Housetrained: Yes
Hello I'm Rascal, I just arrived here so they are still learning about my personality, but I'm a fawn and white Boxer and I'm pretty darn good looking if I do say so myself. My owner called Happy Tails because they could no longer keep me for some silly reason. I'm kind of bummed out, but they say they will find me an even better family here at Happy Tails. I sure hope they are right!! If you are interested in meeting me, give us a call!!

I went to the vet last week for my check up and we learned that I have heartworm. I am having treatment for that and the expect me to make an excellent recovery, but that's why I'm listed as special needs.

The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.
