Hello my name is Ranger. I am a male 16 month old purebred Llewellin Setter. I am being fostered with my sister Florence. I lived outside so I am learning to adjust to living indoors. It has been scary but foster mom says I am starting to come out of my shell and enjoying this new life indoors. I have discovered I really like rawhides and I like rolling a ball around with my nose. I am pretty quiet and shy but I like going for walks and it tends to bring out a little bit of playfulness. I have learned to lead on my leash, sit and I am learning come. It is a slow process so I need a family who will be patient and understanding that this is a whole new world for me. I am house and crate trained. I love children but right now I think I would do better in a home with older and respectful children. I cannot wait to find my forever family.

adoption fee $400

The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.

Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432. We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.

All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
