Welcome Rainy to the Happy Tails family!  She came from a less-than-ideal situation, that is for sure...But she is safe now!  She is a 3 Y/O Mastiff mix, and because of whatever she is mixed with, she is smaller (~70 pounds) and doesn't have those drooly jowls!  She has fit in really well in her foster home, with 2 large female dogs, 2 smaller male dogs, 2 male cats, a parrot, 2 adults and a toddler!  She is very gentle and sweet!  As I'm typing this she is sleeping at my feet, while 3 little girls are running and screaming just feet away!  She is housetrained and crate trained, and already knows a few commands like sit and shake!  She is a gentle giant and would LOVE to continue her life's journey with a family of her very own!  Maybe that is you?!

The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.

Happy Tails Rescue Minnesota is located at 7331 Baker St NE, Fridley MN 55432. We are open for adoption events from 12-5 every Sunday. If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.

All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
