Hi, my name is Payton!! Aren't I CUTE!? I am very unique, and that makes me extra adorable! I am a mix between a Shih Tzu and Bichon. Some people call this "Teddy Bear" breed mix. Does that mean you will snuggle with me? Because I would really like that!! I am 1 yr old and 14lb. I have long legs so I would make a really great walking partner! I love everything and everybody so I would be appropriate for a home with or without kids, cats, or other dogs. When I came to rescue, my coat was really matted and icky so they brought me to the groomer who made me looking beautiful again! When my hair grows back, it will be fluffy and "non shedding" so that means I will need routine brushing at home and also trips to the groomer. I am house trained on a schedule, and I love treats so I would be happy to learn any tricks you want to teach me! Could you be my forever family? If so, please fill out an adoption application!

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids
The breeds of our dogs and cats are a "best guess." We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a "full grown size" of many of our younger animals.

If there is a certain animal you want to meet at one the events please fill out a preadoption application to directly contact their foster family or check our Facebook page to see if they will be there! Their event attendance is based on the availability of their foster family.
All of our cats and dogs are INDOOR pets and are NOT to be left outside unattended (even in a fenced yard), or running loose!
